Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is an Hollywood actor and writer who has received critical recognition for her skills. Sagittarius. Born on the coast of North Carolina December 3, 1960. She is the oldest out of the three children that were the children of Peter Moore Smith (a paratrooper) and Anne Smith, a psychologist. She's English as well as Scottish. Moore's dad moved around often due to his job. It was difficult for her to make or maintain friendships. Moore's family moved to Germany and she was a student at Frankfurt American High School, where her first acting opportunities included in plays. In the course of her studies, Boston University is where Moore finished her education, earning a B.F.A. in 1983. When she graduated, Moore moved to New York where she started her career in off-Broadway theater. Moore made the move in New York after graduating and started her professional career in off-broadway theater. Moore made her debut on screen in 1985, with a scene of The Edge of Night. Her break came in 1986 in which she was cast as the character of Sabrina Hughes as well as Frannie Hughes in the show As the World Turns. She starred on the show as the World Turns from 1986 until 1988. As a result of her character, she received the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, she made a debut in cinema in the form of Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. Short Cuts was produced by Robert Altman in 1993 and 3 Women was released in 1997. The film was critically acclaimed and Moore was nominated for multiple awards. Moore received her first film role as a lead for the film Safe (1996). Steven Spielberg's choice to cast Moore in Jurassic Park: The Lost World, one of the most successful films of 1997, was a significant moment in her career. The film she starred in was Magnolia (1999) and was praised by critics which earned her a SAG nomination for her performance. The Hours, a 2002 film in which she co-starred with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Strreep was nominated for nine Academy Awards. Other films Moore starred in includes The Forgotten (2004) Freedomland (2006) Shelter (2010) etc. In 2014, she was in Non-Stop. Moore has appeared in numerous television and film series. Her most recent starring roles is In 2022, When You Finish Securing the World. In her role as an Hollywood child's writer and actress, the actress is well-established. Her first novel was published Freckleface Strawberry (2007) and it was an N.Y.T. bestseller. best-seller resulting in the adaptation into a novel and musical. In 2013 Moore released her novel My Mother is a Stranger. Moore is a popular author and performer she has also made her private life known to the world. She split from John Robin in 1995. Bart Freundlich, whom Moore later married in 2003, has two kids with her. Moore's job, her friendships and family are among the most important things in her life.
